Trisha Adams
Trisha Adams
Trisha was born and raised in California. She attended William Jewell College in Liberty, Missouri with a year’s honor study in Oxford, England. She graduated magna cum laude with a degree in psychology, but it was her work as editor of the college yearbook which sparked her choice of vocation. She moved to Virginia and began working in the advertising department of a local newspaper. Because of her interest in computers, she quickly made the transition to desktop publishing and opened her own graphic design firm in 1985. After selling her business in 1990, she went to work for a color printing company establishing their electronic prepress department and retail service bureau.
Trisha began painting in 2001 and by 2004, she was painting fulltime. Landscapes are a favorite subject and she travels most summers to Provence to paint. She is a member of the 100-year-old Washington Society of Landscape Painters. Trisha’s paintings are in prominent collections including the Virginia State Senate, the town of Leesburg, VA, the Ritz Carlton in Tysons Corner, and the Winchester Medical Center.
