金潤作    (1922 - 1983) 性別 男 金潤作台南人，畢業於大阪工業學校研習工藝設計，跟隨小磯良平習畫，金潤作繪畫發展可分為三個時期，早期是學院寫實的表現手法，第二期是受立體派大師布拉克影響，以平面性造型、低彩度色調及豐富肌理變化來創作，第三期已脫離布拉克風格，形象更加減化，藉由細密色層譜成朦朧的意境，以及顫動的色光韻律。 資料來源 台北市立美術館

Erich Paulsen Erich Paulsen was born in a small village near Berlin. Erich showed a prodigious talent for paintings as he was growing up, but his father urged him to train in a "normal" profession and so he became a varnisher and whitewasher. His foreman in the firm he worked for painted landscapes in his leisure time and the young Paulsen used to watch him. Paulsen was very eager to try to do a painting but he had no money to buy paints or brushes. So one day he took clandestinely some of the colours, but he could not take the brushes which the foreman kept in a separate place. So he used the scraper spatula which he normally took to remove old layers of colour and he painted a landscape with houses. When the foreman saw this he gave him a big threshold, then he looked at Paulsen's first paintings and said, 'You are much more talented than I. You can take all my colours, you will have good success.' This was the start of a very successful artistic career,

Jules Emile Saintin Jules-Émile Saintin  (14 August 1829 – 13 July 1894) was a  neoclassic  French painter. Biography [ edit ] He was born in  Lemé  (France). Jules Émile Saintin was a pupil of  Michel Martin Drolling  and  François-Édouard Picot  at the  Ecole des Beaux-Arts  in Paris in 1845. [1]  It begins at the  Salon des artistes français (Salon of French Artists) in 1850 and 1853 by pencil portraits. Portrait of  John C.
