Iwona Lifsches
Iwona Lifsches was born and studied fine arts in Warsaw, Poland.
For many years she experimented with different styles being fascinated by figurative art.
After moving to Denmark in 2006, where she currently lives and works, Iwona gave up struggling against the uncontrollable urge of painting and accepted being a naïf artist. She is now devoting herself fully to her art, following her bliss and working full time as a naif artist.
Her fabulously colorful works represent a simple, easily understood and often idealized scenes of everyday life with a touch of melancholy and humor.
Iwona won the Grand Prix at the International Festival of Art Naïf in Poland in 2015, and her works have been shown internationally.
